The train takes you into the mine’s main tunnel on a 4km route, 3km of which is through the tunnel. The battery-powered locomotive and modern carriages date from 2016, and their large windows offer a view of the mine that even the miners themselves never had.

The mine train links the surface with the depths of the mine. On its circular route, it takes you through the lush vegetation covering the former open-cast mines, then into the mine’s main tunnel, on a 4km circuit, 3km of which is spent in the tunnel.
